Twitter is so synonym to the internet world. The number of people who uses Twitter keep increasing from time to time but there's one thing terribly wrong about Twitter; lack of emoticons. It's analogous to the world without color, you can't fully express yourselves in Twitter without the right emoticons. Fair enough, this due to graphical things that can't be used in Twitter but an alternative to this troubling issue must be resolved.

TwitterKeys is a website that compiles a list of compatible characters (UTFs) that can be used as emoticons on Twitter.

It's just a piece of cake for you to use it. Double-click the emoticon you want to use, press Ctrl + C to copy and press Ctrl + V to paste it wherever you want it to be displayed. Please note, it's not limited to Twitter but can extend to other large number of applications like Myspace, Friendster or even Microsoft Word.

For those who just come across Twitter and not really have an idea of Twitter is all about, here is the chance for you to know and get addicted to it. Twitter is a micro blogging service that allows other people to follow your updates and your short ramblings. If you actively participate in Twitter the number of your followers can grow in size. Qwitter is a new web service that notifies you when someone decide not to follow you anymore on Twitter. The notification will be sent when your account loses a follower.

One interesting thing about Qwitter is that it attaches your last tweet along with Twitter Quitter email notification. Rest assured this service does not require your password, your username and email address are the only details it requires for sending you the notifications.
