Symantec is well-known for its Norton antivirus which provides most comprehensive, around the clock protection to computer and user online activities. It comes at a price though and on top of that, it notoriously bring computer performance to a knee especially for low end computer and appears to be little bit sluggish in a good performance computer. I believe that's the reason why people easily are so turned off in buying Norton Antivirus for their protection.

People at Norton are pretty quick to remedy the bad perception created by the previous versions of Norton antivirus by releasing something useful in term of speed to the general public. The Norton User Account Control is a useful small application that is released FREE to users to suppress the pestering UAC popup in Windows Vista.

Everyone that works in Windows Vista on regular basis has definitely come into contact with the User Account Control (UAC), the annoying service that brings up a window asking for your confirmation if an application needs elevated rights. The idea behind the UAC is to alleviate malicious attempt from gaining access into your computer.

Norton’s UAC simply replaces the original Windows Vista UAC giving the user more options in hand when an UAC prompt appears by allowing you to choose "Don't ask me again" which supresses all prompts in the future.

Download Norton User Access Control

What a wonderful solution from Symantec!
